Late this evening, a waning Gibbous Moon adds it’s glow to the overnight skies, rising near 10:15 PM, and joined a half hour later by the distant ringed-world, Saturn. Although they appear close to each other, it is merely a momentary alignment. Saturn is actually more the 3 thousand times farther away than our neighboring Moon.
