Nature Buddies playgroups foster community and curiosity. Each time we get together, we’ll explore a nature-based theme, play some simple games, dance, and have fun! Parents or guardians attend each hour-long playgroup gathering with their children.

Are you looking for a fun and educational way to interact with your child? Interested in developing new friendships with local families in a warm and friendly environment? Our playgroup might be right for you!
This playgroup is for children ages 2 to 5 and their caregivers.
Nature Buddies Playgroup meets from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the Fairbanks Museum.
Space is limited to 10 children in each playgroup. Registration is required.
Parents or guardians attend with their children for story time, crafts, movement activities and outdoor play.
Fee: $10/child for each playgroup meeting.

Fall Session (8 gatherings)
This fall, our playgroup will meet on Tuesdays or Thursdays at 10-11 AM.
Our Tuesday group will meet on 9/22, 9/29, 10/6, 10/13, 10/20, 10/27, 11/3, and 11/10.
Our Thursday group will meet on 9/24, 10/1, 10/8, 10/15, 10/22, 10/29, 11/5, and 11/12.
This playgroup series will focus on autumn forests, plants, animals, and the many ways creatures prepare for the changing seasons!
