Meet Your Neighbors: Butterflies of Vermont

Butterflies are amazing animals, morphing from leaf-bound caterpillars to free flying beauties. New England has over 120 species of butterflies, yet most of us only recognize one or two of the most common. In this 90-minute presentation, Kate Taylor, author of Butterflies of Vermont and their Host Plants will cover butterfly life cycles then discuss ways to find and identify them in the field. Participants will gain a new appreciation for our winged neighbors and the natural world.
