Today:
The Crescent Moon returns to the Gemini Twins this evening, with the dimming twilight making the Twins visible by around 9:30. This time the Moon appears under to arm of Pollux the leftmost of the Twins, although this might me difficult to discern with the glow of moonlight, as the Moon nestles in between Pollux and Castor.

Friday:
Prowling the heavens high in the southwest this evening starting near 9:30 PM, you’ll find Leo, the Lion. Leo is one of the horoscope signs, its traditional dates of late July into the third week of August marking when the sun was against the background of these stars 3000 years ago. This now happens one month later.

Saturday:
Near their earlier rendezvous point on May 3rd, Mars and the Moon again appear close together in the western sky this evening, in between Cancer and Leo. The Moon is a little closer to Cancer, and Mars to Leo. They will then sink into the west-northwest, reaching the horizon at about 12:45 AM.
