Nature Buddies playgroups foster community and curiosity. Each time we get together, we’ll explore a nature-based theme, play some simple games, dance, and have fun! Parents or guardians attend each hour-long playgroup gathering with their children.

Are you looking for a fun and educational way to interact with your child? Interested in developing new friendships with local families in a warm and friendly environment? Our playgroup might be right for you!
This playgroup is for children ages 2 to 5 and their caregivers.
Nature Buddies Playgroup meets from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the Fairbanks Museum.
Space is limited to 10 children in each playgroup.
Parents or guardians attend with their children for story time, crafts, movement activities and outdoor play.
Fee: $80/child for all 8 playgroup sessions.

Winter Session (8 gatherings)
Wednesdays: November 12 – January 21
Thursdays: November 13 – January 22 FULL
This playgroup series will focus on winter: snowflakes, hibernation, coniferous trees, tracks, and more!
Registration is required, as space is limited.
Spring Session (8 gatherings)
Thursdays: March 5 – April 30
Fridays: March 6 – May 1
Sundays: March 8 – May 3
This playgroup series will focus on spring: gardens and animals waking up, warmer weather, melting snow, and more!
