Ski areas hit the jackpot on this date in 1965, when 8 to 16 inches blanketed the northern portions of New York, Vermont, and New Hampshire. Burlington totaled over 8 inches, Newport over 12 inches, and Enosburg 14 inches. In northern New Hampshire Bethlehem shoveled 13 inches and First Connecticut Lake topped the list at 15 inches.
