The first days of spring can easily revert to their winter habits. Last year, 2024 delivered the second heavy snowstorm of the month, dumping 1 to 2 feet of snow across most of VT and NH. Claremont and Woodsville, NH had to shovel out from 21 inches of the white stuff, while the storm totals reached 19 inches in Fairlee, VT, 22 inches in Ludlow, and an even 2 feet on the hills outside Windsor, VT. Several locations, including Rutland, reported this to be the second biggest snowstorm on record, after the arrival of spring.
